Maintaining an excellent track record in school, this student came out in flying colours in her Higher Secondary examination -- with a score of 1160/1200 (96.6%). Her NEET score was not high enough to enter medical college, so she enrolled for a B.Sc. course in Agriculture.
Three year ago, the student’s father passed away after a heart attack. Her mother works in a meat shop from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., drawing a salary of Rs. 8,000 per month. They live in a small house paying a rent of Rs. 2,500. The student’s younger sister is in Class 12th .
Impressed by her dedication to studies in the first year of her course, a college professor referred the student to Aalayam for assistance with the second-year fees.
Aalayam has helped her with the third year fees and now we seeks to raise Rs. 10,000 for the 7th semester.
